Ingersoll Honbu Dojo
The Ingersoll Goju Ryu Karate Club continues to grow in downtown Ingersoll. With qualified instructors, students are able to train recreationally to learn more about martial arts and improve fitness levels. They can also have opportunities to train competitively and achieve international results. With a strong focus on discipline and humility, students are able to achieve their personal goals and leave every class feeling successful. The dojo is a big part of the community and receives amazing support from the municipality. The dojo is proud to be an inclusive facility and create a family atmosphere for its members.
SMA Karate offers two different yet complimentary styles of karate – Shotokan and Gōjū-ryū. These styles of karate are of Japanese origin and are two of the most recognized styles of karate worldwide.
Kumanomori is dedicated to inspiring and developing excellence in the sport and practice of Karate. We are affiliated with the Seiwa Kai Canada and the worldwide Seiwa Kai organization. Our core style of instruction is Goju Ryu, one of the four main styles of karate practiced in the world today.
Kazoku Martial Arts is an institution dedicated to the growth and development of its students. We strive to create a family oriented culture so everybody feels welcome.
At Scholars’ Karate we teach traditional karate, combined with a modern approach to physical fitness and self defence. We practise the style of Goju Ryu Karate-do. This karate style emphasizes the use of opposing forces. Hard and soft, as well as linear and circular. These concepts are incorporated into it’s technical and philosophical aspects.

We are a family oriented Karate school in Welland, Ontario under the Seiwa Kai Canada organization. We are also JFK (Japanese Karate Federation) registered. There are multiple Karate Schools throughout the world that we are joined with under the instruction of Hanshi Fujiwara from Japan. (9th Dan black belt.).
